1. Have you experienced some kind of loss? If you have, I strongly encourage you to come to our Grief Support Group with Certified Counselor Paul Lenderman. The meeting: Tues., Feb. 8th at 4 PM.
2. Don’t miss this Sunday, February 13th. It will be our privilege to have missionary Brian Weed with us. You have likely never met such a visionary. He has passion galore for building God’s kingdom. We will receive a love offering for his ministry. Be sure to ask the Holy Spirit what He would have you do.
3. Bless your home with some exceptional Christian music. Larry Morbitt, who was with us for our Christmas dinner, sent us some of his CDs and DVDs. They are $15 each or two for $25. If paying by check, make it out to the church, and please write his name on the memo line.
4. Women’s Bible Study, Wednesday at 10 AM. This will be our final study on Haggai … WOW, we now know how to pronounce his name AND have come to a greater understanding of his positive influence in the rebuilding of the temple. Many lessons learned for today’s application! Our final study will be followed by a potluck lunch.
5. Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study, Thursday mornings at 6 AM. For you working men, keep in mind this is a one-hour meal and meditation … we dismiss at 7 AM. This week we will study further on “Satan the Father of Liars.” Come and invite a friend.
6. Movie night is Friday, February 18th. We will be showing “Facing the Giants”… Never Give Up. Never Back Down. Never Lose Faith.
These are really fun times … watch for further words on this event.
7. Pray that law and order will be established throughout our land. Almost daily there is some senseless killing taking place. Pray for those in law enforcement. It would appear that they are being targeted.
