1. Church Membership – We praise the Lord for all of our Jubilee family and the many new people who are now attending. I would like to encourage you to pray about officially joining and becoming members. Application forms are at the Welcome Center. Complete the form and return it to the church office. We will contact you once we have the form.
2. Believer’s Baptism – In Matthew 28:19 Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Have you received Jesus as your Savior and Lord? Have you in obedience followed Him in baptism? Baptism is a public display of an inward commitment you have made to our Lord. It is an expression of our love and devotion to Him. There are application forms for baptism at the Welcome Center. Complete the form and return it to the church office.
3. Thank you for all your prayers, visits, cards, and encouragement. I am making really good progress from my broken hip surgery. I have one more surgical procedure that will lay me up for about two weeks, in April. I am so anxious to be able to return and start sharing God’s Word with you again. We are so blessed with the ministry of Pastor Jim and Pam and the terrific staff and lay leadership.
4. Let’s make Easter really count for Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to put on your heart those who don’t know the Lord. Let’s pray to the LORD for their salvation. Easter is Sunday, April 9th and there will be two great services at 10 and 11:30 AM, with Pastor Sherrow and the choir presenting and Pastor Jim delivering the message.
5. Movie Night is this Friday, March 17th, at 6 PM. We will be watching “Gifted Hands.” Let’s be creative in our snacks and bring something GREEN!
6. Anointing – following Sunday’s message “The Ministry of Anointing,” we will designate part of the worship service for anointing. Be in prayer that the ministry of the Holy Spirit will be at work in the lives of our Deacons and the congregation, as we prepare for this special time.
7. A Work Day is scheduled for Monday, March 27th at 9 AM. Our Work Days have been very effective in making a shining difference in the church building. The more who come, the easier it will be for all involved. Please set aside a few hours to come and help.
