CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR DELORES VIGIL
A Celebration of Life Service for our sister in Christ, Delores Vigil, will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM here at Ventura Jubilee Fellowship. Delores was active in our church family for several years before she entered into the presence of Jesus on October 28, 2025, after declining health following a stroke. Pray for her family and friends as they continue to journey through their grief. Your presence will be an encouragement to them as we thank God for her life.

What a hot and spicy evening – fellowship, fun, FLAVORFUL chili, and our first-ever Cornhole Competition Finals! Kudos to our Chili Contestants: Dave I, Debbie, Don, Delores, Nancy D, Dan, Tracy, Wally, David M, Patrick, Linda, Pam R, and Catherine – congrats to Pat, David M, Delores, and Pam R for winning first, second, and third, respectively. And congrats to Catherine for winning the People’s Choice award. Cornhole Gamers: Don, Ben, George, and Phil – congrats to Don and Ben for winning the championship!! SPECIAL SUNDAY OBSERVANCES
Just a reminder: COMMUNION will be observed on the first Sunday of the month. ANOINTING AND PRAYER will be observed on the second Sunday of the month – which happens to be next Sunday, March 8. This will allow adequate time in the service for each.
MEMBERSHIP AND BAPTISM – WHAT’S THE RELATIONSHIP?
Both work together to identify you as a follower of Jesus. Baptism is the public declaration that you’ve put your faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin. Membership affirms your “citizenship” or commitment as an individual to a local body of believers. At VJF, we encourage both. Applications for baptism and church membership are available on the info table across from the office. Orientation classes will be offered soon. Questions? Contact the church office.
GREG NICELY – NEW ADDRESS
Our brother, Greg Nicely, moved this weekend to central California to live with his daughter, Tiffany. His new address is 2347 Oregon Way, Yuba City, CA. 95991. His address will be listed in our online directory. Surely Greg would appreciate a card wishing him God’s best in this next life chapter, thanking him for his service to the Lord and VJF as a faithful usher, and letting him know that he is loved and missed.

Delores Barnes is hosting a game night at her home on Friday, March 6. (She hopes this will become an ongoing fun time on the first Friday of each month.)
