SUMMER SUPPER CLUB …
The 2nd get-together for Summer Supper Club is Friday, July 10. We hope your first dinner was a great experience and that you’re getting to know people in our church family beyond simply recognizing their names. We’re keeping it simple for a special time of food, hospitality and conversation. Remember BYOD, Bring Your Own Dinner… Your hosts will provide beverages and dessert. It is particularly important to arrive on time, at 6:00 PM.
ANNUAL MEETING – September 20, 2026
The VJF Nominating Committee has provided you with the “2026 Elected Position: Candidate Recommendations” form on the Information Table in the foyer. If you believe a member is equipped to serve in a leadership position and you have discussed with them their willingness to do so, please submit their name on the form. Forms are to be submitted no later than Sunday, July 12, 2026. The election will be held at the church membership annual meeting.

Our next VJF Grief Support Group will be meeting on Tuesday, July 14, at 3:15 PM.
Under the leadership of Certified Grief Counselor Paul Lenderman, this ministry provides compassionate support and guidance to those experiencing loss. Each of us experiences loss differently and for a variety of reasons … the loss of a loved one, a home, a pet, etc. We encourage you to join us anytime. “Mark Ministries, Where Compassion Makes a Difference.”
Did you know that VJF shares prayer requests two times each week? Our prayer chain has over 150 recipients. You can complete a “gold” prayer request card or contact the office to submit your prayer request. We provide our prayer warriors with prayer requests as well as answered prayers. If you want to join the prayer warriors, just complete a white Information Card and check off that you would like to receive the “Prayer Email”. Also, we have an “all-church” prayer time every Thursday at 11:00 AM. Our prayer partners pray for those on the prayer request sheet as well as for our church body and government officials.
