PASTOR LEONARD went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 27. Please uphold Lesley, the Merillat family, and Sheldon DeWitt and family in prayer during this time.
His Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the service. It will be held at Ventura Missionary Church, 500 High Point Drive in Ventura. The service will be live-streamed and recorded.
BIBLE ALIVE CLASS – Sunday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

- The men’s adult Bible study class has started a new series. You are welcome to join any time. The series title is “The Sorcerer’s Sin, a study in Acts 8:14-25. Come, you will be blessed! They meet in the “Eagles Nest.”
- Pam & Paige’s Class
- This Ladies’ adult Bible study class is studying prayer. Let us know, in the office or with Paige, if you need a study book. You will be inspired! They meet in the Library.
- Pastor Jim’s Class
- If you are interested in studying the Book of Acts, this class is for you. Verse by verse, chapter by chapter, the Book of Acts comes “Alive!” You are welcome to join anytime. They meet in the Music Room

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Did you know that VJF shares prayer requests two times each week? Our prayer chain has over 150 recipients. You can complete a “gold” prayer request card or contact the office if you have a prayer request. We provide our prayer warriors with prayer requests as well as answered prayers. If you want to join the prayer warriors, just complete a white Information Card and check off that you would like to receive the “Prayer Email”. Also, we have an “all-church” prayer time every Thursday at 11:00 AM. Our prayer partners pray for those on the prayer request sheet as well as for our church body and government officials.
