1. A Reminder – our Grief Ministry, directed by Pastor Paul Linderman, begins today, May 14th, in the Conference Room. Pass the word of this new Jubilee Ministry.
2. This Sunday – Charlie Campbell will be with us for a focus on Biblical Prophecy and Evangelism. He will speak at 11:30 AM and again at 5 PM. Be sure to invite people who do not know the LORD. Many accept the LORD under this kind of teaching.
3. Let me encourage you to join us in the Conference Room every Sunday at 11 AM for a time of prayer. I am sensing the move of the Holy Spirit in our services because people are praying.
4. Have you tried our first Adult Bible Class, taught by Dr. Stephen Button? It meets from 10:40 to 11:20 AM, and the subject is “Faith-Aid.” Try it … you will like it.
5. Remember Johnny and Ruth Larring in your prayers. They leave soon for their ministry in the Scandinavian countries and will be there until this fall.
6. A reminder to our men — every Thursday, at 6 AM, we meet here for breakfast and Bible study. This week, Pastor Leonard will continue the current study on the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
7. This Saturday, May 18th, there will be training for those who would like to drive our transporter, that picks up people in our parking lot and brings to them to the Worship Center. We also give people a ride back to their cars. Training time is 10 AM.
8. Are you aware that our Sunday message is posted on YouTube, every Sunday afternoon. We have people all across the country who are watching and listening, by this means. Let others know that this ministry is available.
9. Our Associate Pastor, Dave Warbritton, will begin his ministry with us on June 17th. Remember Dave and Kodi as they wrap things up in Lynchburg, and get ready to move here.
10. This Sunday you will find a flyer on your Worship Center chair that is all about the “Little Red Schoolhouse at the Fair.” The training class sign-up sheet will be available at the Information Table. Nancy Dolton will be there to answer any questions. Training at Jubilee will be June 30th at 1 PM, shortly after church service.
11. The mat stretch class meets Mondays at 6 PM. Join Grace for this short-term Stretch ‘n Bible Meditation class. Also, the Bible & Stretch Class (using chairs) is every Thursday at 9 AM.
