1. Membership Class – Sunday, February 4th immediately after 2nd church service, in the library. Please complete a Membership Application Form, found at the Welcome Center, and return it to the office or bring it with you. We will be serving a light lunch so you don’t have to worry about going hungry.
2. Women’s Bible Study meets on Wednesdays. Come at 9:30 AM for fellowship and snacks and be prepared to worship-in-song at 10 AM. We have a donated Proverbs study book … call the office if interested in joining.
3. Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study – Thursdays at 6 AM. We are showing a video series by Dr. David Jeremiah on “The Rapture.” It is excellent. The food, fellowship, worship time, and study will be a real blessing to you. A $5 donation for breakfast is appreciated.
4. Our 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off will be Friday, February 16th at 5 PM. Due to an unforeseen cancellation, we have room for one more contestant! Call the office if interested (805-535-4325). Several different kinds of chili will be prepared and available for us to enjoy. A team of judges will determine the “best one.” Tickets are on sale for $10. Don’t wait to get yours… they are going fast! (If you prefer a non-spicy meal, soup will be available.)
5. Contribution Statements (for your tax return) are completed and will be available at the Welcome Center this Sunday (01.28) before 1st service, between services, and after 2nd service. If you are unable to pick yours up, it will be mailed on Monday, January 29th. Be watching for it in your mail.
6. Did you know??? … we have 160 folks signed up as Jubilee’s Prayer Warriors? They receive, via email, Prayer Request Lists twice each week. The lists are prepared in the church office and we want to share pertinent, timely information. If you submit a prayer request, please keep the office staff updated on any changes and praises. We typically remove the request after one month; however, if we are provided with updates we want to keep praying, for the timely information.
