- MOVIE NIGHT – FRIDAY, JUNE 21 @ 6 PM. Come, bring a friend and snacks to share. Our feature will be TRUTH BE TOLD, starring David James Elliott and Candace Cameron Bure. This wonderful story plays upon the proverbial saying, “Honesty is the best policy.”

- ONE NATION UNDER GOD CHOIR PRESENTATION – June 30. Folks, Pastor Sherrow, the choir, and the band will present a patriotic musical called, ONE NATION UNDER GOD. Please tell others about it and invite them to come as your guests. It will be a wonderful celebration of our dependence on God and the independence of our country.

- Erni Mansi MEMORIAL. The memorial service for Erni Mansi will be on Saturday, June 29 at 10 AM at REALITY CHURCH, 1954 Goodyear, Ventura. Continue to keep Marilyn and the family in your prayers.
- PARKING REMINDER. We need your help in being a good witness to our business neighbors, West Coast Sash and Doors. Please do not park in their spaces during regular business hours Monday – Saturday. This is especially important when we have daytime services, memorials, luncheons, etc. We want to be loving and considerate neighbors. You are free to park there on Sundays because WCSD is closed. - EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN CONFERENCE. The 2024 Have Faith Tour is coming to Westlake in September. A group of VJF ladies will be attending this 2-day conference, with a great team of speakers and performers, for spiritual refreshment and sweet fellowship. - TY FOR YOUR GENEROSITY. You are the most amazing church family on the planet. On June 9 when our missionaries to France, the Morris’, were here, they shared several needs they had. You – with no advance notice – gave approximately $4700 as a love offering. Richard and Valerie were overwhelmed when presented with the gift check. And God will generously provide all you need. 2 Corinthians 9:8 – Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. GOD BLESS YOU.
- SUMMER MISSIONS EMPHASIS. July and August are the two months when we increase our focus on world missions. During these two months, we will have several missionaries with us. Please take the opportunity to meet them, get to know them, hear their heart passion, and discover how you can pray for them.
- SUMMER MISSIONS CONFERENCE. Our Missions Conference is scheduled for August 25-30. Friday evening (08.30) we will have our MISSIONS BANQUET. Your Missions Board has set a goal to raise $110,000 during that time. The Church Board and the Missions Board have committed to contribute $15,000 and $10,000 respectively. So $25,000 of the goal has already been underwritten. $85,000 remains to be raised by the evening of our MISSIONS BANQUET. Please make this a matter of prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what He wants you to give. If you give a missions offering before the banquet, be sure to write on the memo line, “MISSIONS CONFERENCE GOAL.”
- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! For all the books you have donated to our church library. We have several boxes to sort through, organize, and ready for display. Please do not donate any books during the summer months. We need this time to purge and sort. We will advise you, in the fall, when we can accept more books. Again, thank you, and an extra big thanks to Jackie Peterson for her hours of work in this ministry.
