Daily devotionals are meant to strengthen your faith and encourage you to live for Jesus no matter what the day brings. We have two great devotionals on our INFO table in the lobby. Our Daily Bread and Days of Praise are excellent resources to help you grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ daily. You can also give one to a friend.

Your next opportunity to become a VJF member will be 10.06. The class is held immediately after the 2nd service. A light lunch will be served. Membership Application forms are available at the Welcome Center. Please turn in your completed form to the Church Office asap.
ATTENTION LADIES!
Our new fall study is from the Book of Daniel. Our study guide is ‘Discovering Daniel’ by Amir Tsarfati. The study will launch this Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:30 AM. We’ll meet to enjoy a continental brunch, fellowship, worship, a “What’s Daniel all About?” presentation, and small groups. Cost: $20 book and workbook

· VC PREGNANCY CENTER Annual Banquet – October 10. VJF has purchased a table so there are FREE seats for 10 people who would like to attend. Call the office if interested.
· Ventura Teen Challenge 29th Annual Golf Tournament and BBQ on October 14 in Ojai. A great way to help provide life-saving residential programs and community outreach. Brochures are on the Info Table.

Our November Jubilee Luncheon will honor veterans. Here’s a great way of saying THANK YOU to the many in our fellowship who have served. Bring your veteran friends. Our speaker will be Song Hwang, a chaplain serving the SEABEES.

The Teen Challenge Ladies Choir will be our guests for both services. You’ll be very blessed as you hear their songs and testimonies of deliverance from addictions.

Please plan to attend our ALL-Church Christmas Dinner! Our special guests that night will be the exceptionally talented saxophonist and worship leader, Tim Kirschenmann and friends. A joyous evening is planned as we celebrate God’s love for everyone in the sending of His One and Only Son.
