1. Jubilee’s 2023 regular schedule will resume on Sunday, January 8th. Church Services 10 AM and 11:30 AM; Bible Alive Classes 8:45 AM.
2. On Sunday, January 8th, it will be our privilege to have World Partners’ missionaries Joshua and Missy Saune. They are serving the LORD in Peru. There has been a tremendous political upheaval in that land. You won’t want to miss what the Saunes have to share.
3. Word of God Celebration will be this Thursday, 01/05, at 6 PM. All of you who have participated in the “read through the Bible” program are encouraged to attend this very special time of celebration, fellowship, and testimony.
4. Attention Jubilee Men and Women: We will have a handbell choir! If you have never been in a handbell choir, but you read music, you are welcome! If you have always wanted to play in a handbell choir, we’d love to have you. Our first “get acquainted, come and play” meeting will be on Tuesday, January 10th at 2 PM. We will meet in the sanctuary… it will be fun!
5. Church Membership – We have been blessed this year with some wonderful new members. As we begin the new year, we want to extend the invitation to others who may wish to join. Membership application forms are available at the Welcome Center. Complete the form and turn it in at the Church Office.
6. Believer’s Baptism … Jesus taught that His followers should believe (trust) in Him and be baptized. We believe that baptism is a public expression of an inward commitment to Christ and we practice by immersion. Forms are at the Welcome Center. Complete one and turn it in at the Church Office.
7. How ‘bout starting 2023 off with a commitment to the Jubilee Prayer Time? Folks gather together in our Conference Room from 11 AM to noon. Sometimes we catch ourselves saying, “all we can do is pray” … remember folks, that is the BEST thing we can do.
8. Did I hear someone say … CHILI COOK-OFF??? Yes! Jubilee will have a Chili Cook-off on Friday, January 27th at 5 PM. SAVE THE DATE. You can choose to be a contestant or one who indulges in yummy, delicious chili! Be watching for further details. Y’all Come!
