PASTOR LEONARD’s BOOK GIVEAWAY!
Pastor Leonard has lots of books that are good reads – some short, others long, but all relevant and excellent. He is selecting a few to keep and take home; the rest will be left in the bookcases for a brief time. Starting Monday, January 5, through Friday, January 16, feel free to come by the church office and help yourself. Our prayer is that you will be blessed and drawn closer to God’s heart as you read.
PASTOR INSTALLATION – SUNDAY, 1/25/2026, ONE SERVICE 10 AM – NO BIBLE ALIVE
You are invited to join us in our Worship Celebration and Service of Installation for Rev. James J. Merillat as the Senior Pastor of Ventura Jubilee Fellowship Church. The guest speaker is Dr. Dave DeVries, VINIA Regional Director of MCUSA. A free Celebration Lunch will be served immediately after the service. Please RSVP on Sundays, Jan 11 and 18, at the Cafe Counter or at the Welcome Center.
WHAT IS THE CHURCH IMPACT PLAN (CIP)?
The Church Impact Plan is a process designed to discern God’s calling, aligning leadership, and moving forward in unity and purpose. Church leaders from our various VJF ministries are working together over the next few months to answer 4 big questions:
- Who are we?
- Why are we here?
- Where are we going?
- How will we get there?
Pastor Jim and the CIP team have already met twice in this process, which will prayerfully shape and strengthen VJF’s mission of honoring God and making disciples. Please pray for our CIP team as we seek God’s vision into the next season of faithful ministry.
