1. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT — Brian and Brenda Kim, our missionaries to a Restricted Access Nation, are in the area, and the only time we could schedule them is this Wednesday, March 27th at 6 PM, at Jubilee. I am asking you to make every effort to attend and encourage them, as we don’t have a chance to see them very often.
2. Next Sunday, March 31st is Easter Sunday. The choir, JoyBells, and instruments have been rehearsing to make this a rich and memorable experience. There will be two identical services – 10 AM and 11:30 AM. If you normally come at 10 AM but wouldn’t mind coming at 11:30, it would help take pressure off the first service anticipated crowd.
If you are bringing guests, we would appreciate knowing their names so name tags can be prepared and to be sure that we will have enough welcome Gift Bags. Just call the office to let us know … 805-535-4325.
3. Don’t miss our next Tuesday Luncheon. It will be April 9th at noon. Brad Dacus, the founder and CEO of the Pacific Justice Institute will be our guest. This group plus many volunteer attorneys offer their services to churches, Christian businesses, and individuals in danger of losing their freedoms. Be sure to sign up this Sunday. The cost for lunch is $10.
4. The time is almost here when we will enjoy the ministry of Charlie Campbell in a weekend Bible Conference. The dates are Saturday, April 20th from 9 – 12 (3 sessions) and Sunday during both services. You will be blessed. Charlie is an excellent teacher.
5. 12-Hour Prayer Vigil – We will have a 12-hour prayer vigil on Friday, April 12th from 6 AM to 6 PM. The 12 hours will be divided into 30-minute increments. You can sign up this Sunday and reserve the best time for you. There will be three stations located in the foyer for your sign-up time. Also, between now and then, please use the yellow prayer cards to submit any special requests you might have. The final hour of the vigil (5-6 PM) will be devoted to an hour of praise and worship, here at the church. We want everyone to come.
6. Our next Church Membership Class will be held on June 2, after the 11:30 AM service. A lite lunch will be served. Prayerfully consider identifying with this local church family. You can turn in your Membership Application at the Welcome Center. Don’t wait until the last minute – Pastor Leonard wants to meet with you before the meeting.
7. In obedience to the Word, we publicly share our faith, in Him, through Baptism. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are encouraged to make this testimony of faith to our Jubilee family through Baptism. Applications are available at the Welcome Center.
8. REMINDER — NO WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY TOMORROW, 03/27. We will resume our regular schedule next week on Wednesday, April 3rd.
