1. Ministry Team Survey – At this past Sunday’s service, each of you received a Ministry Teams Survey showing ways that you can be involved in the life of Jubilee. For those of you who took the survey form home, PLEASE do not forget to complete it and bring it back to church. You can place your survey form in one of the red & black boxes. We want everyone to find a place to serve … YOU will be blessed! Those who indicated they were interested in serving as a “driver” will be sent a “Helping Hands” form to complete. That is the ministry that oversees the need for drivers. Thank you!
2. The VJF Bible Conference with Charlie Campbell begins Saturday at 9 AM and will end at noon. He will do three, 50-minute sessions with refreshment breaks in between. On Sunday, he will give the same message in both services. He is a very gifted teacher. I urge you to attend. There is no charge, but there will be an opportunity to participate in a love offering for him.
Saturday:
- 9 AM – “Archeological Evidence for the Bible”
- 10 AM – “Evidence for the Resurrection”
- 11 AM – “An Examination and Response to Islam”
Sunday:
- 10 & 11:30 AM – “Why Does God Allow Evil and Suffering”
3. Women’s Bible Study meets each Wednesday at 9:30 AM for snacks and fellowship. At 10 AM they promptly start the worship time, followed by break-out groups. You are welcome to join in on the Proverbs study, anytime.
4. The Women’s Ministry is sponsoring a CEF Bible Fundraiser, during April. You can participate in this project through a $10 donation. See THE ACTION BIBLE project table in the back of the worship center.
5. Church Membership – Our next Membership Class will be Sunday, June 2nd, immediately following the 2nd service. A light lunch will be served. Membership application forms are available at the Welcome Center. Once you have completed the form, turn it in to the church office. Having them in early will give Pastor Leonard time to review them and meet with you. We would love to have you join.
6. Men, you don’t want to miss Pastor Leonard’s next lesson of the Abraham series … “Abraham and Hagar.” Come to this Thursday’s Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study at 6 AM for a hearty breakfast and fellowship. A $5 donation is requested.
7. Please pray for Israel. Also, pray for the churches, missionaries, and ministries located there.
8. Are you blessed by the ministry at Jubilee? If you are, please tell someone about our fellowship and invite them to attend. The best advertisement for our church is a worshiper who loves Jubilee.
9. We will be printing our mid-year Picture Directory in June. It helps staff and all our people to see YOUR picture in the directory. You do not have to be a church member to be in the directory. Please plan to have your photo taken (or re-taken) between services on May 19th or 26th. Photos will be taken in the church library/conference room. If your personal information has changed since your last photo, such as address or phone number, PLEASE complete a green directory card and leave it at the Welcome Center.
