Movie nights bring people together for a relaxed and fun time. They are a great time to invite people who don’t normally attend church. VJF Movie Nights are FREE. Join us and bring a snack to share. Coming soon:

RECOGNIZING ALL OUR LADIES! SUNDAY, MAY 11
We look forward to honoring all our moms and ladies, as we CELEBRATE JESUS! (He IS the reason we’re gathering.) Pastor Jim will share from God’s Word (2 Kings 4:6-37 / check it out). Plus, there will be special music, a wonderful photo opportunity, and all the ladies will receive a simple, heartfelt gift. OUR ENTIRE CHURCH BODY WILL BE BLESSED!
MAY 13th LUNCHEON – HYMN SING! @ 12 PM
We will gather for a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch and fellowship. Then we will sing some old and new hymn favorites. If you have RSVP’d, return your completed song ballot by May 7.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – SUMMER SESSION · BEGINS JUNE 25
Discover how true faith can leave a lasting legacy with a personal look into the lives of some of the Bible’s most faithful women – each made extraordinary by her life-changing encounter with God. In “Twelve Extraordinary Women”, Bible teacher John MacArthur shows you that the God in whom they were so faithful is the same God who continues to mold and guide you today. You will be challenged, motivated, encouraged, and inspired with love for God. You’ll learn that our struggles and temptations are the same kinds of trials that all believers of all ages face, and that even during troubles, God stays eternally faithful. Ladies, through God, you can become extraordinary. The study book costs $10 and will be available starting Wednesday, May 7. See Kathi Hammond.
BIBLE ALIVE CLASSES – SUNDAYS at 8:45 AM
VJF is thrilled to offer 3 outstanding Bible Alive classes at 8:45 AM Sunday mornings. They allow you to connect with others who want to grow in understanding Scripture and getting to know Jesus more. Bible Alive blends faith and fellowship for fruitfulness and discipleship. Also, through Bible Alive, people can exercise their Spirit-given gifts. Bottom Line: Being part of Bible Alive offers lots of benefits for believers, no matter how short or long you’ve followed Christ. JOIN US!

ALL NEW SUMMER SUPPER CLUB PLANNED!!
Summer Supper Clubs (SSC) are a great way to connect with others in our church family! There’s no program – just dinner, hospitality, and conversation!
Here’s what you need to know about SSC 2025:
This year’s SSC get-togethers are BRING YOUR OWN DINNER (BYOD) events – not potluck like in years past. You bring what you want to eat – leftovers, microwave meals, drive–thru, etc. Hosts will provide dessert.
Your SSC will meet at the same host location each time @ 6 PM.
SSCs will meet 3x this Summer. SSC dates are Friday, June 13; Friday, July 11; and Friday, August 8.
Mark your calendars NOW. Then watch for SSC SIGN-UPS coming soon. Hope you’ll plan to join us! It’s so much fun to make friends within our VJF church family.
