WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – SUMMER SESSION · BEGINS JUNE 25

In “Twelve Extraordinary Women”, Bible teacher John MacArthur shows you that the God in whom they were so faithful is the same God who continues to mold and guide you today. You will be challenged, motivated, encouraged, and inspired with love for God. You’ll learn that our struggles and temptations are the same kinds of trials that all believers of all ages face, and that even during troubles, God stays eternally faithful. REMEMBERING HAL DAVIS
A Celebration of Life for Hal Davis will be held on Friday, May 23rd, at 11:00 AM at VJF. Your support for Carol and the family will be most appreciated as we remember Hal’s life and affirm our faith in Jesus Christ, our living Savior.

If you like to have people in your home, hosting Summer Supper Clubs (SSC) might be for you!! SSC is a great way to connect with others in our church family! There’s no program – just dinner, hospitality, and conversation! Here’s what you need to know about hosting an SSC club:
This year’s SSC get-togethers are BRING YOUR OWN DINNER (BYOD) events – not potluck like in years past. Hosts will provide dessert.
SSCs will meet 3x during the summer at your home on Fridays, June 13, July 11, and August 8, at 6 PM. You tell us how many people you’d like to host – 6, 8, 10, etc.
The MORE host homes, the MORE people can participate in SSC. Interested in HOSTING? Please contact Pam Merillat or Linda Paulson ASAP.

Members of The Sunshine Group are responsible for sending greeting cards to those in our Jubilee family to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, as well as extend get-well, sympathy, and thinking-of-you sentiments. We are blessed to have a WONDERFUL team of ladies who have worked behind the scenes the past year, sending words of encouragement and sharing God’s love to the VJF family.
