A Celebration of Life for Conrad Schulneggar will be held on Friday, June 7th, at 10:00 AM here at VJF. Your support for the family will be most appreciated as we remember Conrad’s life and affirm our faith in Jesus Christ, our living Savior.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – SUMMER SESSION · BEGINS JUNE 25
Discover how true faith can leave a lasting legacy with a personal look into the lives of some of the Bible’s most faithful women – each made extraordinary by her life-changing encounter with God. In Twelve Extraordinary Women, Bible teacher John MacArthur shows you that the God to whom they were so faithful is the same God who continues to mold and guide you today. You will be challenged, motivated, encouraged, and inspired with love for God. You’ll learn that our struggles and temptations are the very same kinds of trials that all believers of all ages face, and that even during troubles, God stays eternally faithful. LOOKING FOR A WAY TO CONNECT AT VJF?
If you like to have people in your home, hosting Summer Supper Clubs (SSC) might be for you!! SSC is a great way to connect with others in our church family! There’s no program – just dinner, hospitality, and conversation!
Here’s what you need to know about hosting an SSC club:
- This year’s SSC get-togethers are BRING YOUR OWN DINNER (BYOD) events – not potluck like in years past. Hosts will provide dessert.
- SSCs meet 3x during the summer at your home – Friday, June 13; Friday, July 11; and Friday, August 8. Time: 6 PM. You tell us how many people you’d like to host – 6,8,10, etc.
- The MORE host homes, the MORE people can participate in SSC. Interested in HOSTING? Please contact Pam Merillat or Linda Paulson ASAP.
FILL THE TRUCK – JUNE 11 – 10 AM to 2 PM
Rescue Mission Donation Day! Drop off will run from 10 AM to 2 PM on June 11. Please make sure your donations are on time, clean, and usable. NO HEAVY FURNITURE. An excellent opportunity to both sort AND give.
