The Big Day is Almost Here!
Next Sunday, June 21st, Father’s Day, we will be in the Father’s house. I can hardly wait. It will be so good to see you.
Assoc. Pastor Jim and the Re-opening Task-force have worked so hard to get us ready. They have accomplished much. They have done the research and followed the guidelines of the CDC, State, and County agencies. We have worked hard to let you know what we have done; and, to let you know what we need from each of you to protect each other. It will be a glorious reunion.
It will be necessary for us to have two services – 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. We will be live streaming at the 11:30 AM service. Please let others know that we are reopening and our service times. The 11:30 is now reserved to capacity. Be sure to call or email if you plan to attend the 4:00 PM service.
Let’s really spend time in prayer that all will go well and that our wonderful LORD will be lifted up in the hearts and lives of many people who are present or watching from home.

1. CHURCH MEMBERSHIP – Everyone is always welcome to attend Ventura Jubilee Fellowship. While we are not overbearing when it comes to membership, we do hope that people will want to officially join as members.
One of the reasons why I am bringing this up now has to do with our annual business meeting, about the third week in September. At that time, people will be chosen by the membership to serve as officers of the corporation and members of the Church Board, Deacon Board, and Missions Board. Church membership is required to serve on any of these boards. I believe there are many of you reading this who are Biblically qualified for these elective offices but have not joined as members. I want to encourage you to take that step.
There is a form to complete and submit to me; then, we will meet with you. Just contact the church office and they will send you the form. I hope you will pray about taking this step of church membership.
2. EIGHTY-SIX …. that is how many folks are on our Prayer Chain! So, when you send in a Prayer Request, just know Jubilee’s Prayer Warriors are “on their knees” petitioning to our LORD. You are welcome to join this vital ministry. Two times, each week, the Prayer Request list is sent out, via email. Contact the church office if interested.
