1. Join us for Prayer — Every Thursday at 11 AM a group meets for prayer in our Conference Rm/library. I would love to see it grow to the point that we’d have to move to the sanctuary. We meet for just one hour. Could you spare an hour to join us in prayer?
2. Regarding Ventura County Christian School’s “surplus properties”… there will be a meeting tonight, at 7 PM. Meeting location: 255 W. Stanley Street.
3. Every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, several of us meet in Pastor Leonard’s office for prayer. We would love to have you join us to seek the Holy Spirit’s anointing on our services.
4. Please pray for Judy Mensa and family. Her dear husband Dean went to be with the LORD over the weekend.
5. This Sunday, as we continue our Missions emphasis in July and August, it will be our privilege to have Rev. Jim Harmeling, with Shepherds International. He and Jacqui are based in Singapore.
6. Phone Calls … if you are calling Pastor Leonard on his cell phone – 805-320-4984, please leave a message if no answer. He seldom picks up a call if he does not recognize the number.
7. Concerning Prayer – many times when someone loses a loved one, we give them a lot of prayer support for two or three months and then taper off. It takes longer than that to heal. I want to encourage us to pray for them for at least one year. If you have had a recent loss, you are encouraged to join our Grief Support Group. They meet today, Tuesday, 07/11/23 at 4 PM in the Conference Rm/Library. All are welcome.
8. Women’s Bible Study will resume this week, Wednesday, July 12th at 10 AM.
