ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. We are looking for ways to help. We have not been able to hold our Vesper Services at Aegis, Townhouse, Cypress, or the Lexington due to the virus. We are exploring ways that Jubilee could minister to these people. We have the capability of making CDs and DVDs of our services. You don’t have to have a computer. If you have a CD or a DVD player, you are in business. As soon as they can have group meetings at the mentioned care facilities, we can provide them with DVDs. If you are pretty well confined in your home and would like either a CD or DVD please let us know.
2. SPECIAL MISSIONS PROJECT. Last week you received an email from me concerning a special missions project. Due to the pandemic, we decided it was not wise to go ahead with our Missions Conference, which was scheduled for August.
However, because a number of the eleven missionaries we help support have really been impacted by the virus and support has fallen off due to churches not meeting, we decided we wanted to raise as much missions offering as possible during July and August. Would you pray about what you might be able to give in addition to your regular giving? Be sure to mark your gift “Special Missions Project.” Let’s see what the LORD helps us to accomplish.
3. Have you ever thought about – remembering Jubilee in your estate planning? Recently, we learned that someone had done exactly that. It is a wonderful way to honor the LORD and extend the witness of your life. Make it a matter of prayer.
4. July 19th is the FINAL day for you to submit candidate recommendations to the Nominating Committee. Contact the church office if you need a Candidate Recommendation Form.
