JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
VJF is currently accepting resumes for the part-time position of Accounting Clerk. The applicant is expected to share our beliefs, join in the spiritual life of the church, and share in the staff’s passion to maximize daily activities with a servant’s heart. If you are interested, you may pick up a Job Description at the Church Office. Resumes are due no later than August 14, 2025, and should be submitted to Joan or Pam in the Church Office.
GRANDS’ SUMMER BLOCK PARTY RESCHEDULED!!
The SUMMER BLOCK PARTY featuring LEGOS and faith-building that was postponed in July has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 23 @ 10 AM. Grandparents – Sign-ups, to bring your grand-kiddos (Gr K-5), are at the Welcome Desk. The event is FREE, but you must RSVP for planning purposes.

IMPACT 2025 MISSIONS GIVING
Our Impact 2025 giving goal is $125,000. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance in helping VJF Missions reach their goal. Impact 2025 Gift envelopes are available on the Entry Tables, Welcome Desk, and Info Table. Results of our Impact 2025 gift will be announced at the August 27 banquet.

- Guest Speaker: Don Mingo / M2M Care.
Don Mingo, Missionary and Author, will speak on his book, So You Want to Be a Missionary? Essential Considerations. Drawing from decades of missionary service in Africa, Don offers practical insights to help missionaries prepare for the often-unexpected challenges of life on the field.
Don and his wife, Kathy, served 22 years as missionaries in South Africa. He has pastored churches in the U.S. and now serves in global Member Care with BBFI. Don holds MDiv and DMin degrees from Luther Rice University, is a trained life coach, and is certified in Chaplaincy, Critical Incident Stress Management, Depression Recovery, and Line of Duty Death.
