PRAISE GOD! 2025 IMPACT MISSIONS CONFERENCE…
…Was fabulous!! A HUGE THANK YOU to the many volunteers who made each event – Fun Around the Campfire, Girlfriends’ Birthday Bash Luncheon, Men’s Pizza Luncheon, Take a Missionary to Lunch or Dinner, Impact Missions Banquet – so memorable and God-honoring. We especially want to thank our MISSIONS BOARD for all their hard work throughout the year. PRAISE GOD! Our 2025 Impact Giving Goal was $125,000. We asked you to pray and give as God directed. Our actual giving total was $136,290. PLUS – Over $1400 has been given towards Operation: 20/20 – providing 700 pairs of reading glasses for the Peruvian people!! Thank you, VJF, for giving to the Lord!
MEMORIAL FOR DAVID WHEELER
Long-time member of VJF, David Wheeler, passed away on Friday, August 15. He had been in poor health for some time. His wife, Sharon, was called home to be with Jesus earlier this year. Do pray for the Wheeler family and friends as they grieve the loss of David. A memorial for David is planned for Thursday, September 4, @ 10:30 AM here at VJF.

We have SOOOO much to celebrate! It has been such a blessing to hear about our SUMMER SUPPER CLUB get-togethers and how friendships have been formed. These relationships will continue to help the family life of our church thrive. All SSC hosts and group members are invited! ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
Our ACM will be on Sunday, September 21. There will be ONE SERVICE at 10 AM. Twenty minutes after the service, the meeting will begin. We will elect church leadership for the next two years and hear important info related to the life and ministry of VJF. This is an important meeting. Plan to participate. FYI – Voting is reserved for members only; attending the meeting is OPEN TO ALL.

TEEN CHALLENGE – Planters & Succulent Clippings Collection!

As a missions partners with TEEN CHALLENGE, we’re familiar with their Log Succulent Planters that the ladies in rehab plant and sell to support the ministry.
TEEN CHALLENGE is branching out!! The ladies are still in the design phase of planting succulents, but would like to use different pots, planters, vases, and containers. So – we’re collecting! Got containers and/or succulent clippings to donate? Bring them to the church between 09.03 and 09.21.
