1. Women’s Bible Study begins this Wednesday at 10 AM. We have had a wonderful response with 58 ladies signing up. There is still time for you. The study will be Dr. Robert Morgan’s book, “Red Sea Rules.”
2. Church Membership – more people have turned in their applications for membership, so we are planning the class for Saturday, October 8th at 9 AM. We would love to have you join if you have determined to make Jubilee your church home. Application forms are at the Welcome Center.
3. Parking Lot Help – Each Sunday (and during special events) Dow Jones has served our church by making sure people know where to drive and park their vehicles. We are extremely grateful to him for his faithful service. Due to life circumstances, Dow has been doing this large ministry mostly by himself. A couple of equally devoted ladies noticed Dow’s need for help and they have been helping to ease the burden of carrying and setting up the parking signs and traffic cones. May God bless these dear ladies! I would like you to partner with us as we pray for God to raise up a healthy, strong man who will partner with Dow to care for the parking needs of our church. Dow needs help and he needs it now. Is there anyone who will help? If you want to help Dow you can contact him personally, or you can contact our church office.
4. Our next luncheon will be Tuesday, October 11th at noon. The program will feature the music of Eric & Joanne Kragenbrink. They lead worship at a Messianic Synagogue in San Diego. You will love them & their music. Save the Date!
5. Thank you for your participation in the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox ministry. What a great way to share God’s love and the good news about Jesus Christ. Each box has the potential of reaching an entire family because of the Bible study materials included.
6. The Summer Supper Club wrap-up will be on Friday, September 30 at 6 PM. All who have been in one of the clubs should plan to attend. (It’s a dessert-only event) A grand evening is planned.
7. A Memorial Service for Bill Corcoran will be held at Jubilee on Saturday, October 1st at 11 AM.
8. It will soon be time for open enrollment for health care. Would you like some help in making your health insurance decisions? Kathi White is an insurance broker and is happy to assist you in understanding your options. If you are interested, please contact our office right away.
9. Possibly you have a car that you no longer can drive or need. We have a couple that is in great need of a car… it can be old but must be in good running condition. They are greatly hampered without transportation, including their ability to come to church. If you can donate, or provide at a budget price, please contact Pastor Leonard.
