- 10:20a-12p Small Group Study
There is always room for more ladies.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18 is MOVIE NIGHT! @ 6 PM
The evening feature will be Disney’s THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE – a 1967 musical based on the true story of Philadelphia millionaire Anthony Drexel Biddle and his peculiar family. Invite a friend and bring a snack to share. FYI – The movie is 2 hours and 45 minutes in length.

VJF’s 2nd Annual NO-CARVE PUMPKIN DECORATING Contest
Here’s How It Works:
Drop off your pumpkin entry at VJF on Thursday, October 24 between 9 am-4 pm. Pumpkins will be displayed on Friday, October 25 at the HARVEST DINNER as table décor, and that night EVERYONE votes for their favorite pumpkin. Winners will be announced at the dinner and prize awards.
The Rules:
- BYOP – Buy your pumpkin — no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″.
- All entries must be real. No artificial pumpkins will be accepted.
- Objects, materials, and types of any kind may be glued or pinned to pumpkin. Painting and carving are also part of the entries. DO NOT CARVE and NO REAL FLAME CANDLES.
- Décor must be family-friendly.
- Please label your pumpkin with its title. All entries will receive an ID sticker.
- One entry per family.
- You must be present to win the entry.

November 1, from 6 AM to 6 PM, we will have a 12-hour prayer vigil focused on our country, government, leadership, communities, families, and THIS UPCOMING ELECTION. Watch for details to follow.

Our November Jubilee Luncheon will honor veterans. Here’s a great way of saying THANK YOU to the many in our fellowship who have served. Bring your veteran friends. Our speaker will be Song Hwang, a chaplain serving the SEABEES. RSVPs begin October 27.
Veterans: In appreciation for your service, you and your spouse will be our guests for this special luncheon. To help us plan, please get in touch with the church office (via INFO card, phone, text, or email) to let us know your intent to come, and your branch of military service. Thanks!
TEEN CHALLENGE, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2024
The Teen Challenge Ladies Choir will be our guests for both services. You’ll be very blessed to hear their songs and testimonies of deliverance from addictions. Once again, their “succulent logs” will be available for sale and a Love Offering will be taken.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2024 @ 6 PM
Concert with Pasha and Sophia. This will be a wonderful night of worship and thanksgiving to the Lord. Watch for more details.

Attend our ALL-Church Christmas Dinner! Our special guests that night will be the exceptionally talented saxophonist and worship leader, Tim Kirschenmann and friends. A joyous evening is planned as we celebrate God’s love for everyone in the sending of His One and Only Son.
