This Saturday is the luncheon to honor Pastor Leonard DeWitt upon his retirement after 65 years of professional ministry and his #88 birthday! The afternoon program will include the Christ-honoring music of DOXOLOGY, an ensemble from The Master’s University. This event is full! VJF OFFICE WELCOMES DIANE ANDERSON / IN-COMING FINANCE / ACCOUNTING CLERK
It’s official!! Lesley Knudsen-DeWitt will step down as our VJF Finance / Accounting Clerk effective December 31 (in sync with Pastor Leonard’s retirement). God has wonderfully provided Diane Anderson to serve in this role. Her God-given skills, giftedness, and desire to serve will be a tremendous addition to our office staff. Diane is currently going through orientation before assuming full responsibility on January 1, 2026. Welcome, Diane!!
OCC SHOEBOX PACKING PARTY WAS A HIT!!
Oh, the joy last Monday – AND TUESDAY – of filling shoeboxes together to share the love and good news of Jesus!! Thanks to the many people who volunteered to pack and label boxes. PRAISE GOD! 345 boxes were filled and packed at the party!! You have until Sunday, November 16, to bring your home-filled boxes to the church before they head to the regional collection center.
