What a joy to give thanks to God and honor Pastor Leonard’s 65 years of pastoral ministry and his 88th birthday.
Many, many thanks … to all who planned and worked so hard to make my retirement/birthday party such a special event. Everything was so special, and I want you to know how much I appreciate all of you coming to celebrate with me. I was honored beyond words. Praise God! Joshua and Missy Saune received the Women’s Ministry gift of $1,564 for reader eyeglasses in time to purchase and take them to Peru. Meeting this physical need opens the door to greater spiritual growth. Thank you, VJF, for your God-given generosity.
THIS SUNDAY’S MESSAGE – “IS YOUR DREAM FALLING APART?”
This Sunday, Pastor Leonard will be sharing a message from Acts 27, titled “Is Your Dream Falling Apart?” Paul was on a ship, caught in a terrible storm, and the ship was going to break up. Does your life feel like that? I don’t think anyone will have trouble identifying with the truths in this chapter. Please read it over several times before Sunday.

WHAT IS THE CHURCH IMPACT PLAN (CIP)?
The Church Impact Plan is a process designed to discern God’s calling while aligning leadership and moving forward in unity and purpose. Church leaders work together to answer 4 big questions: Who are we? Why are we here? Where are we going? How will we get there? Starting in December, Pastor Jim and our church leaders have committed themselves to this process, which will prayerfully shape and strengthen VJF’s mission of honoring God and making disciples. Please pray for our CIP team as we seek God for His vision into the next season of faithful ministry.
