A memorial for Joanne will be held Saturday, December 14 at 10 AM at the Reality Church which is now located at Ralston (formerly Ventura Baptist).

Christmas is a great time to invite family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to church. People are often more willing to come at Christmas time than any other time of the year. Inviting is simply part of building relationships. You don’t need to hard sell. Prayerfully extend the invite and let the Holy Spirit draw them.

ADVENT BEGINS ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1
Our theme is “NOT SOLD IN STORES: The Best Christmas Presents Ever”. As we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth, we’ll focus on those God-given gifts that we cannot buy in stores, but that Jesus brought when He came into our world: peace, joy, service, and love.

We can embrace the joy of giving this Christmas season by supporting the Ventura Community Christmas Shoppe, hosted by Orchard Community Church. Between now and December 8, donate a new unwrapped toy(s) that is given with Christ-centered love. A giving box has been placed in the foyer by the info table, along with VCCS brochures. Imagine the happiness you’ll bring to low-income families with your simple gift, as they shop in the SHOPPE on December 14.

Plan to attend our ALL-Church Christmas Dinner! Our special guests that night will be the exceptionally talented saxophonist and worship leader, Tim Kirschenmann and friends. A joyous evening is planned as we celebrate God’s love for everyone in the sending of His One and Only Son. The banquet seating is nearly full. We will start a waitlist.
