LAST TWO SUNDAYS OF ADVENT – DEC 15 & 22
Our theme is “NOT SOLD IN STORES: The Best Christmas Presents Ever.” As we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth, we’ll focus on those God-given gifts that we cannot buy in stores but that Jesus brought when He came into our world: peace, joy, service, and love. This coming Sunday, we will focus on SERVICE.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL WHO MINISTERED THROUGH MUSIC LAST SUNDAY!!
What a terrific retelling of the good news! Pastor Mike Sherrow, Irene Abbey, the VJF Celebration Choir and Celebration Worship Band, Narrator Debbie Inglis, soloists Jackie Peterson and Lesley Knudsen-DeWitt, the JoyBells Choir, the Sound/Media Team, and the Hospitality Team. Forty-plus people led us to praise and worship Jesus Christ. We are equally grateful for Pastor Jim’s message from God’s Word on the joy of giving. It was a season highlight!
NOTE: If you brought a guest(s) to the musical, please let us know … we need a number, not names. We were blessed with several guests but unable to capture a good count.
