1. Jubilee Year-End Schedule:
January 1st ONE service at 10 AM, Pastor Leonard will be giving a message about “Not Accepting Cheap Imitations.” The reference will be Galatians 1:1-10
There will be NO Bible Alive Classes. Classes will resume on January 8th.
2. Sunday, January 8th, it will be our privilege to have World Partners’ missionaries Joshua and Missy Saune. They are serving the LORD in Peru. There has been a tremendous political upheaval in that land. You won’t want to miss what the Saunes have to share.
3. This Sunday, we will also be observing the Lord’s Supper, also known as holy communion. What a great way to begin the new year.
4. SOMETHING NEW … We are going to have a handbell choir! If you have never been in a handbell choir, but you read music, you are welcome! If you have always wanted to play in a handbell choir, we’d love to have you. Our first “get acquainted, come and play” meeting will be on Tuesday, January 10th at 2 PM. We will meet in the sanctuary… it will be fun!
5. Church Membership – We have been blessed this year with some wonderful new members. As we begin the new year, we want to extend the invitation to others who may wish to join. Membership application forms are available at the Welcome Center. Complete the form and turn in at the Church Office
6. Believer’s Baptism … Jesus taught that His followers should believe (trust) in Him and be baptized. We believe that baptism is a public expression of an inward commitment to Christ and we practice by immersion. Forms are at the Welcome Center. Complete one and turn it in at the Church Office.
7. PLEASE NOTE: If you want to receive a receipt for your 2022 tithes & offerings (for your tax return) you must have your final check dated on or before December 31st and it must be in the office on or before that date. Thank you for helping us meet the required deadlines.
8. Our Lost and Found Basket is getting pretty full. Missing something? Take a look in the basket located at the Welcome Center.
9. Still hungry for tamales? We have a few dozen that are available. $25 for one dozen. Give us a call if you would like to come by and purchase.
