ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
1. For your information — many of you indicated, on Sunday, that you weren’t aware of KDAR radio station. There is a great teaching and some music everyday of the week. The address is 98.3 FM.
2. This Sunday, we will be honoring the memory of one of God’s great missionaries — Don Richardson. He was the author of the book “Peace Child”. Some time later it was made into a movie. Don was with us a little over a year ago and a short time later, the LORD called him home. We want to honor his life and ministry this Sunday morning.
3. Our next baptism service will be Sunday, September 15th. If you have received Christ, as Savior and LORD, He asks you to acknowledge Him by being baptized. Use the Jubilee Welcome Card and let us know if you desire to be baptized.
4. The Memorial Service for Elizabeth Hanson will be Saturday, August 3rd at 10:30 AM, at the church. Be sure to remember Fiona and the family in prayer.
5. Jubilee is going to be deeply involved in the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoe Box Ministry. Be sure to listen for more news on this exciting project. On Sundays, talk to Nancy Farrar and sign up for “your” shoe boxes.
6. Have you signed up for the Branson trip, November 14-21? What a great experience awaits you. See Clarence Brueckner on Sundays. You will have to decide soon if you are going.
7. Men — are you planning to go fishing, August 20-21? We are using this as an opportunity to spend time with our men missionaries, when they are with us. See Don Fromberg on Sundays for further information.
8. I am encouraged by the number of people who have indicated you are talking to your doctor about the new Shingles vaccine.
9. Do you have a will or trust? Do you need information on Estate Planning? On Sunday, September 22nd, right after our morning service, we will have representatives with us for an information meeting on the above plus investments. We will offer a light lunch and then get right into the meeting. Use the Jubilee Welcome Card and let us know if you want to attend.
10. On Sunday we welcomed a wonderful group of new members. We will be welcoming those interested in joining several times a year. Use the Jubilee Welcome Card to let us know of your interest. At the Information Table there is a wonderful paper on the importance of joining a church.
11. It’s Movie Time … August 11th at 5 PM. Jubilee will be showing “God’s Not Dead, A Light in Darkness”. We will also show #2 and #3, in the series in subsequent months.
12. SAVE THE DATES — August 17-25 for our Missions Conference. If you would like to host any of the missionaries for lunch or dinner, see Sandy Fromberg. There will be several events to sign up for.
