  • Please pray for protection during this time of war, for our congregation—where David faithfully serves as one of the pastors—and for God to grant peace in the midst of these difficult circumstances.
  • Pray for salvation for Jews, Arabs, and Iranians; for Hannah, an older woman whose daughter is part of our congregation―pray for her salvation (she is accepting prayer in Jesus' name), and for the unbelieving families of our congregation members.
  • Pray for the young leaders in our congregation―Hen, Dean, and Max, and for the discipleship team that Marisa is part of in helping people grow in the Lord and understand what it means to be a believer.
  • Pray for wisdom for David and Marisa as they plan their trip to California in August for Jubilee Fellowship’s Missions Conference.

  • How do you see the people around you? Do you see them as Jesus sees them?
  • Are you moved with compassion because they are like sheep without a shepherd?
  • Are you inclined to be critical or to intercede?

Pray with us this week:

  • Ask God to heal the many VJF members struggling with pain, cancer, the side effects of chemotherapy, and other physical and mental health issues.
  • Pray for our pastor as he shares the Word. Ask God’s Spirit to move within him, giving him boldness and clarity as he speaks. Ultimately, pray that God is glorified through him, our deacons, and church leadership.
  • Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu, for God to give him wisdom. Pray for Israeli soldiers as they rightly defend their country. Pray for Jews, Arabs, Egyptians, and Iranians to come before the Almighty God and cling to Him to find peace amid the turmoil in Jesus the Messiah.
  • For our missionaries, pray for their strength and perseverance to run the race; that the Lord will bring people across their path who would encourage and uplift them.
  • Pray for God’s provision over their family and ministry; for His protection against illness, injury, and danger.
  • Pray that the joy of the Lord will sustain our missionaries in every trial and setback; that the light of God would shine through them, lifting darkness and oppression as they share  His love.
  • Ask the Lord to make fertile ground and prepare hearts to receive the gospel; that He set up divine appointments and open doors for ministry that only He can make possible.
